12 Miles of Bad Road - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There was going to be an HBO series from the creator of Designing Women about Dallas real estate starring Lily Tomlin. There are six complete episodes that never aired. I MUST SEE THIS. (Via this excellent Vulture article about HBO’s many stillborn shows.)

With Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas! Potentially exciting!
Community’s Ratings Were Really Good Last Night -- Vulture
MIRACLES. Now let’s all just pray that the cast of THE BIG BANG THEORY comes down with a long-lasting intestinal flu, so this can happen more often?
Deadline: 'Luck' Cancelled -- HBO To Shut It Down For Good After Horse Death
WHOA I did not see that coming. And just as I was getting really attached to that show, too. Of course, it seems nobody else in the world who doesn’t write for an entertainment website was watching, so.
But damn. This is just sad all around.
RuPaul's Drag Race: All-Stars is coming!
Hmmm. I am undecided if this is the best or worst idea ever. I assume the drag queen talent pool is shallower than, say, the talent pool for chefs (people haven’t yet realized that the human race’s need for drag is equal to the need for food), so you almost HAVE to do an All-Star season, but still.
I MEAN I WILL WATCH THE HELL OUT OF IT DO NOT GET ME WRONG. Though if Nina Flowers doesn’t come back I might boycott. (via huffandstuff)
Ellen DeGeneres-Portia De Rossi Dueling Sisters Comedy Gets Pilot Order At ABC - Deadline.com
Yessss more Portia de Rossi on TV. She was so good on Better Off Ted that it makes my heart hurt. Sounds like a great role for her, too.
Also, I really want to slap NBC for passing on this, but let’s be fair: they’ve got a lot of comedies already, it’s a bit like Parks & Rec, and it’s not an obvious hit given de Rossi’s track record. But it is so on-brand for them it hurts.
Kristen Bell on ellen. The topic is sloths. Do not sleep on this video.
It’s actually tough to overstate how much you should not sleep on this video.

I kinda freaked out when i saw this tweet this morning, cause i think about this episode all the time. I even tried to do some research on it once, but then decided i’d rather not know if it was true or not. The prospect of finding out that Batman lied to me was not one i was interested in.
Weirdly, this is one of the things that stuck with me about that show too, and even then, I recall thinking “I have definitely read in dreams before, what the hell is Batman talking about.”
Cougar Town Viewing Parties Coming to a City Near You -- Vulture
Well, I’m really regretting not being in Sarasota over Christmas break now.
