The Comics Reporter - “On The Subject Of Return Reading”
Ding ding ding. Superb articulation of my experience with this book. One of my favorite graphic novels of all time, which I haven’t read in at least six or seven years; I think I’ll grab it off the shelf as soon as I get back home.

WOWEE WOW WOW WOW this is great. Also, uh, is it weird to say it cuts a little close to home?

Wednesday Comics: Wonder Woman art by Ben Caldwell
——————
I’m working on this book, and Ben Caldwell’s strip is CUCKOO BANANAS in the best possible way. You will gasp with joy and wonder (ahem) when you see what he can do with the page size he was given.

Hahaha, awesome — Ethan Van Sciver’s brother, Noah, is doing cartoon recaps of each issue of FLASH: REBIRTH.

I feel stupid.
For those of you familiar with literature, and/or those of you who’ve read the new volume of The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen (Century 1910): The opening section of the prose story at the end of the book describes Orlando getting his/her immortality from a pool of water in Uganda that is set in the middle of a civilization of barely-human immortal cavemen. This is, very clearly, a reference to some other famous immortality story from literature, which I am absolutely certain I read at some point in my college years, and I have absolutely no idea what it is. Can somebody tell me what story this is a reference to?
